Bonjour à tous, Projet interdisciplinaire du Programme des Investissements d’Avenir, UnivEarthS est attaché à sa mission d’enseignement. Depuis 2014, le Labex organise une école d’automne qui réunit environ 30 participants lors d’une semaine de cours sur un lieu exceptionnel.

L’objectif de cet évènement est de faire se rencontrer des scientifiques de différentes disciplines pour créer des interfaces et connexions entre Sciences de la Terre, Planétologie et Physique de l’Univers.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous convier à la troisième édition de l’école d’automne qui est organisée à Aci Trezza (Sicile) du 20 au 26 octobre 2016. Elle s’inscrit dans le thème global d’UnivEarthS « Terre - Planètes- Univers : observation, modélisation, transfert ».

Trois cours commençant par des bases de la discipline et se terminant par une ouverture vers la recherche sont programmés :
                 - la Terre planète vivante : dynamique interne (Claude Jaupart)
                 - la Vie dans l’Univers : exobiologie (Sylvain Chaty)
                 - la vie des astroparticules (Étienne Parizot)

Sont prévues également une excursion sur l’Etna ainsi qu’une visite assurée par Véronique Van Elewyck en lien avec le projet européen KM3NeT (observatoire sous-marin de neutrinos).

26 places sont disponibles, avec une prise en charge financière complète d’UnivEarthS (voyage et séjour sur place).

Tous les participants présenteront un poster de leur dernier travail de recherche ou d’enseignement.

Dear all,

Interdisciplinary project from “Investments for the Future” program, UnivEarthS is engaged in its teaching mission. Since 2014, our Labex organizes an autumn school that brings together about 30 students during a week in a special place.

The aim of this event is to bring together scientists from different disciplines to create interfaces and connections between Earth Sciences, Planetology and Physics of the Universe.

We are pleased to invite you to the third edition of autumn school, which will take place at Aci Trezza (Sicily) from 20 to 26 October 2016, and fits into the overall theme “Earth – Planets – Universe: observation, modeling, transfer”.

Three courses starting with the basics of discipline and ending with an opening to the research are scheduled:

                 - Earth living planet: internal dynamics (Claude Jaupart)
                 - Live in the Universe: exobiology (Sylvain Chaty)
                 - Astroparticle life (Étienne Parizot)

An excursion to Mount Etna and a visit organized by Véronique Van Elewcyk in connection with the European project KM3NeT (underwater observatory for neutrinos) are also planned.

26 positions are available, with a full financial support of UnivEarthS. All participants present a poster of their latest research or teaching work.
