Pedagogic reregistration at the Earth Science doctoral school

All students in 2nd or 3rd years( administratively registered in IPGP or in University Paris-Diderot) must carry out a pedagogic reregistration.

Pedagogic reregistration will take place during the third week of september afer making an appointement.

• Schedule for appointements.
• If your Ph.D comity is to meet in september or october, reregistration will take place at the end of october.

Documents that need to be provided

Be careful: any change regarding your Ph.D advisor must be notified while reregistering. Any official change cannot take place during the year.

• A list of the courses validated during the 1st and/ or 2nd year will be given to the Doctoral School when reregistering.
• A list of the courses validated
• The authorization for getting reregistered signed by one of your advisors is indispensable.
• The authorization for getting reregistered
• Follow up file
• Health and safety training file
• Liste des ACMO
• Copy of the last salary sheet

Administrative reregistration at ipgp

The Administrative reregistration at IPGP will take place while you will be carrying out the pedagogic reregistration Don't forget to bring :

• 1 recent photograph.

• Payment of the fees:
  • Registration fees and Médecine préventive: 363.57€
  • Possible payment for social security: 200 €
• Payment terms:
  • By check to the "agent comptable de l'IPGP"
• All students (including salaried employees, foreigners and those being registered in two institutions or those who are exempted from paying the registration fees MUST pay 4.57 € for the Médecine préventive.

Social security and complementary health insurance

Students with with a research contract signed either by IPGP or University of Paris-Diderot have a general social security cover as for every salaried employee. It is mandatory to register to the social security from the first day of the contract. In order to change status( from student to salaried employee), you must go to your local health insurance agency (cpam)to change your status.

It is highly recommended registering to a complementary health insurance. For national education you can choose either MGEN or MAGE as a complementary health insurance

For students who want to be affiliated to the students complementary health insurance,you can ask LMDE or SMEREP if it is possible.
